Superbuy Forwarding vs Buying Agent: Who Does Which Step?
Choose between purchasing help and a forwarding workflow by deciding who handles the seller transaction.
Prepared by Superbuy Spreadsheet Editorial · Reviewed 23 October 2026 · Independent research directory.
The central question is who places and manages the seller order. With a buying-agent workflow, you ask the provider to purchase specified goods. With forwarding, you normally manage the purchase and send the goods to the designated warehouse.
Choose responsibilities deliberately
- Who confirms the seller, stock and variant?
- Who pays the seller and handles an incorrect order?
- Who supplies the incoming tracking details?
- What receiving checks are included?
- Who arranges the international parcel?
Forwarding can fit buyers who already manage their Chinese marketplace account and seller communication. Purchasing support can be more convenient when that is the part you need help with. The exact services included must still be confirmed for the order.
Avoid an assumed warehouse transfer
If you want to send a parcel from one forwarder to another, ask both companies about their procedures before paying. A destination address alone does not establish that the transfer is accepted or that existing protection continues.
