Clothing QC and Sizing: Measurements Before International Shipping
Compare chest width, garment length, sleeves and fabric details against a garment you already own.

A size letter is not a measurement. Compare the seller's chart with a garment that fits you, using the same measurement method. Decide the tolerance you are comfortable with before ordering.
Useful clothing checks
- For tops: chest width, shoulder width, length and sleeve length.
- For trousers: waist method, rise, thigh width and inseam.
- For jackets: closure, lining, pockets and visible stitching.
- For every item: the selected color, label size and quantity.
Ask for a ruler or tape to be visible and avoid comparing a stretched measurement with an unstretched one. Color under warehouse lighting may differ from a seller photo or your screen.
Resolve uncertainty while the item is in China
Write a precise question for each issue instead of asking “is the quality good?” A clear request such as checking a seam, a stain or an actual chest measurement is more actionable. If composition or certification matters, request appropriate supplier documents; an image cannot supply that evidence.
